All-Day Meeting - Oct 6, 2019 - Practice Management, Cushing's, and Feline Enteropathies
We are so excited to have Dr. Karen Felsted, CPA, MS, CVPM, and Dr. Audrey Cook, BVM&S, Msc Vet Ed, DACVIM, DECVIM, DABVP (Feline), at our fall meeting.
Dr. Felsted is the founder and president of PantheraT. She received her DVM from Texas A&M (whoop!) in 1996. She practiced in both small animal & emergency medicine, while simultaneously managing a veterinary accounting and consulting practice. She has been published in numerous national and international veterinary journals and has also spoken at many local, national and international veterinary meetings. In 2011, she was given the Western Veterinary Conference Practice Management Continuing Educator of the Year award and in 2014, the VetPartners Distinguished Life Member Award.
Dr. Cook graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine at Edinburgh University, in 1989. She completed her internship at North Carolina State, her residency at UC-Davis, and obtained her diplomate status from the European College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. As an internist, she started a referral practice in Newport News, VA, before joining the Texas A&M (whoop!) faculty in 2007. In addition, she is one of the few internists with additional certification in Feline Practice through ABVP. She has published numerous articles and book chapters. Dr. Cook is currently Co-Chief of Medicine at Texas A&M.
